5.1 Tables and Floor Setup
Tables are used when dine-in table mode is enabled.
- Go to Restaurant > Floor & Tables.
- Create tables with table number, name, capacity, section, and active status.
- Use Table Map to view occupancy and table state.
- Update status when a table is available, occupied, reserved, dirty, or out of service.
5.2 Reservations
Reservations help front-of-house plan capacity.
- Go to Restaurant > Reservations.
- Create a reservation with customer details, party size, date/time, table, and notes.
- Seat guests when they arrive.
- Complete, cancel, or mark no-show based on the outcome.
5.3 Table Transfer
When guests move, use transfer controls from the Restaurant POS check flow so the check follows the new table and reporting remains clean.
