| Register | A selling station linked to an Inventory location. |
| Shift | A register's trading period with opening cash, sales, cash movements, and closing reconciliation. |
| Parked sale | An unfinished cart saved for later review and checkout. |
| Fixed combo | One sellable selection with a configured set of Inventory components. |
| Cash variance | Actual counted cash minus expected cash. It is not a sales discount or an automatic write-off. |
| Credit sale | A saved sale with an authorized amount still owed by the attached customer. |
| Tendered / change / net paid | Money presented, money returned, and the amount retained against the sale. |
| X-Report | The shift reconciliation view, including payments, refunds, movements, and cash. |
| Management download | A PDF or Excel report of existing records, separate from a customer receipt. |
| KDS | Kitchen Display System used for Restaurant preparation. Paper mode can provide preparation tickets without a kitchen monitor. |
