Manage your POS customer database for receipts, credit sales, and customer insights.

7.1 Viewing Customers

  1. Go to Sidebar > Customers > Customers
  2. Browse the customer list
  3. Filter by:
    • Search (name, phone, email)
    • Category (Retail, Wholesale, VIP, Staff)
    • Location area
    • Status (active/inactive)
    • Credit status
    • Recent purchases
    • Birthday month

7.2 Creating a Customer

  1. Click Add Customer
  2. Enter customer details:
    • Name (required)
    • Phone number(s)
    • Email
    • Ghana Card number
    • Address and location area
    • Birthday
    • Category and price tier
    • Credit limit
    • Photo (optional)
  3. Click Save

7.3 Quick Create (During Sale)

  1. On the sell screen, click Add Customer > Quick Create
  2. Enter name and phone number (minimum)
  3. The customer is created and attached to the current sale

7.4 Customer Profile

Click a customer to view their profile:

  • Contact information
  • Purchase statistics (total spent, transaction count, average sale)
  • Customer segmentation and RFM analysis
  • Credit status and limits
  • Notes and tags
  • Recent transactions

7.5 Customer Notes

  1. On the customer profile, click Add Note
  2. Select the note type: General, Complaint, Preference, or Follow-up
  3. Enter the note text
  4. Click Save

7.6 Customer Tags

Tags help you segment customers for marketing and analysis:

  1. On the customer profile, click Add Tag
  2. Enter a tag (e.g. "Birthday Month", "High-Value", "At-Risk")
  3. Tags appear on the customer profile and can be used for filtering
