Locations & Warehouses

Multi-location support lets you track stock across warehouses, stores, and transit points.

Location Types

Type	Description
Warehouse	Primary storage facility
Store	Retail or customer-facing location
Transit	Temporary location for goods in transit

Creating a Location

1. Navigate to Locations → Create.
2. Enter the location name and code (must be unique).
3. Select the type (warehouse, store, or transit).
4. Enter the address, city, region, and Ghana Post GPS code.
5. Set a manager (optional, from business users).
6. Mark as default location if this should be the primary receiving location.
7. Add a receipt header for printed documents.
8. Click Save.

Default Location

Only one location can be the default. The default location is used when no specific location is selected during stock operations.

You cannot delete the default location. You must first assign default status to another location.

Location Detail View

Click a location to see:

• Total products in stock at this location
• Total quantity on hand
• Total stock value
• Low stock product count
• Recent stock movements at this location
