Registers

Registers represent your physical POS terminals or stations. Each register tracks its own shift history and transaction flow. 2.1 Viewing Registers Go to Sidebar > Sales > Register...

Registers represent your physical POS terminals or stations. Each register tracks its own shift history and transaction flow.

2.1 Viewing Registers

  1. Go to Sidebar > Sales > Registers
  2. View all registers with their status (active/inactive)
  3. Filter by location or status

2.2 Creating a Register

  1. Go to Registers > Create Register
  2. Enter the register name (e.g. "Counter 1")
  3. Select the Location (from Inventory locations)
  4. Assign a register number
  5. Click Save

2.3 Editing a Register

  1. Click a register to view its details
  2. Click Edit
  3. Update name, location, or active status
  4. Click Save

2.4 Register Details

The register detail page shows:

  • Register information (name, number, location)
  • Current shift status (open/closed)
  • Recent shift history with opening/closing cash and variance
