Working With Other Modules
Manufacturing shares products, stock, documents and journals with other modules. Each link checks that the other module is enabled and skips quietly when it is not.

18.1 Inventory
Inventory supplies products, units, locations, lots and every stock movement. On an Inventory product page, a Manufacturing section shows:
- Made product with its recipe and version, Make more, and open production orders
- Used in N recipes for materials
- Held for open orders, Quality / cure hold and Awaiting final costing, only when the quantity is above zero
These are label/value pairs in Product details, with two-decimal quantities such as 198.00 pcs. Held batches appear as at most three wrapping chips with a count and +N more. Open a chip to trace that batch. Make more opens a new production order with the recipe already selected; the open-order count opens a filtered order list.
Available stock there excludes stock on hold for orders, awaiting final costing, or quarantined for quality, curing or recall, without counting staged reservations twice. If Manufacturing is disabled, people with historical access keep this provenance as plain text without Manufacturing actions or links.
18.2 Accounting
With Accounting, production posts the journals in 6) Batch Cost and Accounting, job deposits and invoices use Accounting's invoices and payments received, and excise posts its return. Invoices, proformas and credit notes linked to a job show a Customer job panel with Open job. Manufacturing journals are corrected in Manufacturing, not edited in Accounting.
If Accounting is not enabled: production, costing, trace, quality, recalls, jobs (without invoices), month end and excise returns all work. Postings are marked not applicable and are never replayed later.
18.3 POS and Invoices
Till sales and invoices of made products take stock first expiry first from released lots only. Lots on quality or cure hold, under recall, held for production, or awaiting final costing cannot be sold; the sale says some batches are expired or held. Allocated sales appear in trace and in a recall's Who has it list.
18.4 Procurement
With Procurement, the buy list goes to Procurement as a requisition, outsourced steps create draft purchase orders, and goods receipts appear in backward trace. If Procurement is not enabled: you still see the buy list, and you record outsourced work on the order.
18.5 Payroll and HR
Approved piece counts become Payroll earnings. Payroll and HR employees can be chosen when logging work and starting timers. If Payroll is not enabled: piece counts stay pending. If HR is not enabled: HR employees are simply not listed.
