Troubleshooting and Compliance Reminders

• A screen shortcut is missing: your role does not have the required permission. Ask a business owner to review access.
• Leave units look wrong: verify working days, public holidays, leave unit, dates, and the active accrual source.
• A document cannot be uploaded: confirm file type and size, then ask an administrator to verify the production malware scanner.
• An employee cannot enter the portal: confirm the invitation was accepted, the email is verified, HR remains enabled, and portal access is active.
• Payroll does not include an HR employee: complete Payroll readiness, then ask an authorized Payroll reviewer to apply the enrollment handoff.
• Unpaid leave blocks a run: configure both the Payroll component mapping and daily-rate divisor.
• A bank or statutory change says blocked: confirm Payroll is enabled, the employee is enrolled, and the underlying Payroll value has not changed since HR approval.
• A late leave change cannot edit a payslip: posted Payroll is immutable; review and schedule the generated correction or next-period adjustment.
• Retention does not select an exited employee: confirm the retention period has elapsed and resolve legal holds, open leave, active workflows, protected changes, or Payroll handoffs.
• A dashboard total differs from another user: HR dashboards and shortcuts respect each user’s permissions and accessible records.
• A handoff appears twice: do not create another employee. Open the Payroll review queue; enrollment and protected-change handoffs are idempotent.
