Use the asset workspace tabs to check assets out or in, transfer custodian or location, set a return due date, attach invoices, warranties, insurance, contracts, photos, and other supporting documents, and review immutable activity history.

Keep source-document lineage complete: the acquisition source, capitalization evidence, custodian movements, maintenance evidence, depreciation runs, impairment decisions, and disposal record should remain traceable without changing historical document snapshots.

Use check-out for temporary custody with an expected return. Use transfer when responsibility or location changes permanently. Check-in closes the temporary movement without deleting its history.

The CSV import provides a downloadable template, validation preview, duplicate detection, create-only mode, and update-by-asset-number mode. Correct every row error before committing the import.

Use QR Label for one asset or the register batch action for multiple assets. Labels are generated as 50 x 30 mm printable cells on A4 PDF sheets. During audits, supported browsers can use the camera through BarcodeDetector; keyboard scanners and manual input remain available.
