Automations let you build workflows that trigger actions based on CRM events — no manual intervention needed.
11.1 Viewing Automations
- Go to Sidebar > CRM > Automations
- Browse automation rules with trigger types and status (active/inactive)
11.2 Creating an Automation
- Click New Automation
- Enter a name and description
- Select a Trigger:
| Trigger | Fires When |
|---|---|
| Lead Created | A new customer is created |
| Deal Stage Changed | A deal moves to a specific stage |
| Deal Won | A deal is marked as won |
| Deal Lost | A deal is marked as lost |
| Message Received | An inbound message arrives |
| Deal Rotting | A deal exceeds max days in a stage |
| Activity Overdue | An activity passes its due date |
- Configure trigger conditions (e.g. "only when stage = Proposal")
- Add Actions:
| Action | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Create Activity | Schedule a task, call, or meeting |
| Create Reminder | Set a reminder for a rep |
| Update Field | Change a customer or deal field |
| Assign To | Reassign to a specific rep |
| Move Deal Stage | Advance the deal to a stage |
| Enroll in Sequence | Start an email sequence |
- Set action delays if needed
- Click Save
11.3 Toggling Automations
- Click the toggle switch to activate or deactivate an automation
- Inactive automations do not fire
11.4 Automation Runs
View a log of every time an automation was triggered:
- Trigger event details
- Actions executed
- Timestamp and outcome
